RUBY PERKINS

Ruby Perkins, 70, of Van dear died Sunday, August 11, 1996 at
Paul B. Hall Medical Center. She was born August 7,1926 in
Johnson County, the daughter of Hayes and Martha Music Ramey.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three daughters;
Carolyn Jean, Ruby Jean and Collista Irene Perkins.
Surviving are her husband, Frank Perkins, six sons; William
Perkins, James Perkins and Larry Perkins of Peru, Indiana;
Robert Perkins of Van Lear; and Roger Perkins of Loganville,
Georgia; four daughters; Barbara Steele of Wabash; Sheila
Jefferson of Ashville, Ohio; Lisa VanHoose of Paintsville; and
Dorothy Ratliff of Watkinsville, Georgia. One brother, Hayes
Ramey Jr., one sister Billie Collins of Van Lear; 18
grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Visitation took place at Van Lear Enterprise Baptist Church on
Monday, August 12 Roger Hill and Manford Fannin officiated.
Burial was at Highland Memorial Park in Staffordsville.
Arrangements were made by Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
