BETTY PETERS
1943-1979
Betty Osborne VanHoose Peters, 37, died Thursday, July 26. Mrs. Peters was
born in Johnson County May 17, 1943, daughter of the late Harold Osborne and
Stella Burkes Osborne.
She was a resident of David Branch and was employed as a beautician.
Surviving in addition to her mother are a son, Joey VanHoose, Paintsville,
four brothers, Robert Osborne, Sitka, Willard Osborne, Thomas Osborne and
James Osborne, Wabash, IN, four sisters, Donetta Lemaster, Wabash, IN,
Barbara VanHoose, Sitka, Doris Palmer, Clearwater, FL, and Iva Joy Miller,
Springfield, OH.
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 28, in Sitka Freewill Baptist
Church with Rev. Bruce Daniels officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, with Jones- Preston
Funeral Home handling arrangements.
