LAURA BELLE PHELPS
1905-1999
Funeral services were held Friday, November 26,1999 for Laura
Belle Webb Phelps, 94, who died Tuesday, November 23, 1999 at
Highlands Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Phelps was born March 18, 1905, in Johnson County, to the
late John Monroe and Martha Goble Webb.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Phelps, on
March 22, 1986; and a son, Denzil Phelps.
Surviving are one son, Bruce A. Phelps of South Shore; two
daughters, Marthaleen Phelps Preston of Williamsport and
Ernestine Phelps Blair of Clarksville, Tennessee; and 10
grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-
grandchildren.
Officiating at services at Jones- Preston Funeral Home Chapel
were Dave Flanery and James Denzil Phelps.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
