ARTHUR RAY PICKLESIMER

Arthur Ray Picklesimer, 59, of Meally, died Tuesday, April 9,
2002 at Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center, Paintsville.
Born May 26, 1942, he was a son of Thelma Crisp of Salyersville
and the late Arby Picklesimer.
He was a retired electrician and U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Michelle Ray
Picklesimer; and a step-son, Everett Dewight Blair.
Survivors include his wife, Effie Picklesimer; three sons,
Michael Picklesimer and Gregory Alan Picklesimer, both of
Cincinnati, Ohio, and David Picklesimer of Columbus, Ohio; two
daughters, Shawn Ray Picklesimer of Meally and Suzette Marie
Schlein of Lebanon, Ohio; three step- daughters, Sheila Crum of
Meally, Lisa Blair of Prestonsburg and Brenda Kirsch of Elkhorn;
a brother, Bill Picklesimer of Sitka; and 17 grandchildren.
Funeral services were Friday, April 12, at Jones-Preston Funeral
Chapel, Paintsville, with Larry Blair and Herman Roberts
officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Staffordsville,
under direction of Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
