EMMA PINKERTON
1901-1987
Paintsville resident, Emma Pinkerton, 86, died Wednesday, November 4, in
Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Pinkerton was born January 21,
1901 in Johnson County, the daughter of William and Fidella Chandler.
Her husband, John W. Pinkerton preceded her in death in 1963.
Surviving are two sons, John Wesley Pinkerton of Wilmington, OH, and Dallas
Pinkerton of Los Angeles, CA; one daughter, Dorothy Charlene Baldridge of
Paintsville; one brother, Richard Chandler of Van Lear; two sisters, Madge
Carr of Clifton Forge, VA and Mary Roth and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, November 7 in Jones-Preston Funeral
Home chapel with Don Yeager and Carl Baldridge officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
