Gearldine Hickman Pittman, 81, of Paintsville, died Wednesday,
March 8, 2006 at Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center,
Paintsville.
Born April 21, 1924, in Johnson County, she was a daughter of the
late Fred Burns and Numia Patrick Hickman. She was a retired
insurance agent.
Survivors include her husband, Elzie Thomas Pittman of
Paintsville; a son, Joseph David Pittman of Lexington; a daughter,
Janice K. Pittman Mier of Paintsville; and a sister, Deanna Jean
Falcon of Thibodaux, La.
Funeral services were Sunday, March 12, at First Christian Church,
Paintsville, with Wesley D. Stedtefeld officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under
direction of Jones-Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville.
