PAUL POTTER
1907-1964

Paul Potter, 56, a well known resident, died Saturday, July 4, at
a Louisa hospital, after a brief illness.

He was born in Lawrence County, November 24, 1907, a son of the
late K. C. and Carrie Soard Potter.

He had been a resident of Thelma for the past fifteen years.

Mr. Potter was a retired Lineman for the C & O Railway and a
member of the Masonic Lodge.

Surviving are his wife, Amanda Elizabeth Mollette Potter; two
sons, K. C. Potter, Nashville, Tenn., and Jerry Potter, Thelma;
one daughter, Mrs. Ann Johnson, Paintsville; two brothers, Raymond
Potter, Columbus, Ohio, and Roy Potter, Louisa; two sisters, Mrs.
Pauline Faust, La Mesa, California and Mrs. Evelyn Brasher, El
Cajon, California.

Also surviving are 2 grandchildren. Funeral services were
conducted at 1:00 p.m., Monday, July 6, at the Jones-Preston

Funeral Home with the Rev. J. H. Short, the Rev. Charles Saunders
and the Rev. Edgar Preston officiating. Graveside rites were
conducted by the Masonic Lodge.

Burial was in the Potter Family Cemetery at Louisa.
