Jerry Neil Powers, 51, of Belcher, died Saturday, April 30, at his residence.
Born April 12, 1960, in Johnson County, he was the son of Emma Josephine Reed
Pate of Elkhorn City, and the late Montie B. Reed.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Linda Lou Powers.
Additional survivors include two sisters, Nancy Tackett of Belcher and Betty
Jo Hatcher of Newport News, Va.; and three brothers, Roger Keith Powers of
Louisville, Randall Gale Powers of Paintsville and Paul Wade Powers of
Georgetown, Texas.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. today, Wednesday, May 4, at Jones-Preston
Funeral Chapel, with Dean Tackett officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under direction of
Jones-Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville.
