CLYDE PRATER
1914-1980
Clyde Prater, 66, died Friday, Sep 19, at his West Van Lear home.
Born Jan 24, 1914, in Johnson County, he was the son of Sherman and Stella
Phillips Prater. He was a resident of West Van Lear.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Dutton Prater; two sons, Ray and Clyde Sherman
Prater, West Van Lear; two daughters, Billie Jean Muluihull, Chicago, IL, and
Betty Lewis, Boons Camp; a sister, Ruby Spradlin, Whitehouse; 10
grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Sep 21, in Boonscamp Freewill Baptist
church with Jimmy Price officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, with Jones-Preston
Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
