MARY PRATER
1912-2000
Mary Prater, 87, died Thursday, May 11,2000 at Highlands
Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Prater was born December 25, 1912, in Lawrence County, to
the late Moses and Rosella Preston Dutton.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Prater, in
1980.
Surviving are two sons, Ballard Ray and Clyde S. Prater, both of
West Van Lear; three daughters, Betty Lewis of Boons Camp and
Jean Mulvhille and Connie Szafran, both of Chicago, Illinois;
and 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday, May 14, at Jones-Preston
Funeral Home Chapel, with Jimmy Price officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
