Gladys Mae Conley Preston, 71, of Tutor Key, died Saturday,
Sept. 21, at Mt. Manor Nursing Home, Paintsville.
Born Jan. 21, 1931, in Johnson County, a daughter of the late
Herschel B. and Gracie Fyffe Conley, she was a homemaker and a
member of Mt. Olive Freewill Baptist Church, Dayton, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles E. Conley.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby J. Preston of Tutor Key;
two sons, Garry W. Preston of Dayton and Dennis A. Preston of
Tutor Key; a daughter, Patricia Ann Preston of Dayton; two
sisters, Ernestine Conn of Antioch, Tenn., and Evelyn Preston of
Red Bush; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services were Monday, Sept. 23, at Jones- Preston
Funeral Home Chapel, Paintsville, with Revs. Jerry Castle Jr.,
and Paul V. Preston officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Staffordsville,
under direction of Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
