HAROLD LLOYD PRESTON

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 1, 1 p.m. at the Phelps &
Son Funeral Home of Paintsville, Ky., for Harold Lloyd Preston, 76, of
Williamsport, Ky., who passed away Monday, May 30 at Highlands Regional
Medical Center in Prestonsburg, Ky.
   
Mr. Preston was born February 13, 1929 in Johnson County, Ky., son of the
late I.D. and Malta Howell Preston. He served in the U.S. Army.
  
Surviving are his wife, Marthalene Phelps Preston of Williamsport, Ky.;
one son, David Bruce Preston of Versailles, Ky.; two daughters, Martha
Sue Greer of Paintsville, Ky., and Cheryl Ann Preston of Hi Hat, Ky.; two
brothers, Virgil Preston of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Paul Richard Preston of
Barefoot Bay, Fla.; three sisters, Leona Wallen and Betty Wallen, both of
Williamsport, Ky., and Patty Swartz of Dayton, Ohio; and two
grandchildren.
  
The service will be officiated by Dave Flannery, with burial following in
the Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville, Ky.
  
Arrangements under the direction of the Phelps & Son Funeral Home of
Paintsville, Ky.
