HOMER PRESTON
1914-1996
Homer Preston age 82 a Meally resident, died March 19,1996 at
Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center.
He was born in River on March 17, 1914 the son of William James
and Myrtle Spears Preston.
Mr. Preston is survived by his wife, Marie Ward Preston; three
sons, Chester A. Preston of Milan, Michigan, Gerald P. Preston
of Paintsville and Wilbur D. Preston of Reeds Springs, Missouri;
six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two brothers,
William James Preston Jr. of Dayton, Ohio, Raymond Preston of
boonscarnp; three sisters, Stella Craig and Irene Parsons, both
of Catlettsburg and Barbara Franklin of River.
Funeral services were held March 22, at the Buffalo United
Baptist Church, with Glen Penix, Thierel Daniel and Douglas
Ward officiating.
Burial was at Highlands Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
Paintsvlle Funeral Home was in charge of services.
