Marie Ward Preston, 75, of
Meally died,December 22 1996 at U K Medical Center, Lexington,
Ky.
She was born July 16, 1921 in Meally, Johnson Co Ky., the
daughter of Bascom Clark and Zella Preston Ward.
She was preceded in death by both her parents, and her husband
Homer W. Presotn.
She is survived by three sons, Chester A. Preston, of Milan,
Michigan; Gerald P. Preston of Paintsville,; Wilbur D. Preston,
of Reeds Spring, Missouri; 6 grandchildren, 2 great
grandchildren; three brothers, James C. Ward, of Fairborn, Ohio;
Arby Ward of Tipp City, Ohio; Herman Ward, of Phoenix, Arizona;
and one sister, Malissa Roark, of Phoenix, Arizona.
Services were Thursday Dec.26 at 10 a.m. at Buffalo United
Baptist Church, with Elders, Lawrence Arrowood, Douglas Ward,
Glen Peniz, and Bobby Marietta officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville.
