Betty Jo Ramey, 81, of Van Lear, died Friday, Jan. 7, at her residence.
Born April 2, 1929, in Johnson County, she was the daughter of the late
James and Ruth Murphy Trimble.
Survivors include her husband, Hayes Ramey Jr. of Van Lear; three sons,
Hayes Ramey III, Curt Dean Ramey and Jerry Ramey, all of Van Lear; two
daughters, Brenda Ramey and Evelyn Blevins, both of Van Lear; a brother, Don
Trimble of Galion, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Monday, Jan. 10, at Van Lear Freewill Baptist Church,
with Paul Wayne Browning officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under direction of
Phelps and Son Funeral Home, Paintsville.
