George L. Ramey Jr., 64, of Stambaugh, died Tuesday, Feb. 19, at Paul B.
Hall Medical Center.
Born Sept. 24, 1948, in Johnson County, he was the son of the late George
Sr. and Marguerite Schintzler Ramey. He was a teacher and member of the
Highland Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Tama Stapleton Ramey; and a sister, Priscilla
Quinilvan of Phoenix, Ariz.
Funeral services were Thursday, Feb. 21, at Highland Church of Christ,
with Jerry Scott officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Staffordsville, under
direction of Jones-Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville.
