Margaret Goble Ramey, 70, of West Van Lear, died Monday,
April 30, 2007 at Highlands Regional Medical Center,
Prestonsburg.
Born June 24, 1936, in Johnson County, she was a daughter
of the late Calhoun and Sara Conley Goble. She was a
telephone operator.
Survivors include her husband, Howard B. Ramey of West
Van Lear; a son, Jason Ramey of Richmond; two daughters,
Chris Ramey of Lowmansville, and Nicole Ramey of West Van
Lear; a brother, Paul Goble of Douglasville, Ga.; and
four grandchildren.
Funeral services were Wednesday, May 2, at Jones-Preston
Funeral Home Chapel with Father Beiting officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville,
under direction of Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
