Thelma Ramey, 83, of East Point, died Sunday, Oct. 24, at Highland
Regional Medical Center, Prestonsburg.
Born Dec. 24, 1920, in Johnson County, she was a daughter of the
late Elijah Pete and Carmie Music Goble.
She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Ramey, in 1984.
Survivors include a son, Willis Ramey of East Point; two daughters,
Delores Ramey of East Point, and Anna Younce of River; a brother,
Alvis Goble of Clyde, Ohio; three grandchildren; and five great-
grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. today, Wednesday, Oct. 27, at
Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel, Paintsville, with Bro. Dave
Flanery officiating, with burial in Highland Memorial Park,
Staffordsville, under direction of Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
