WALTER RAMEY
1916-1984
East Point resident Walter Ramey, 68, died August 23 1984 at his
home.
Mr. Ramey was born February 12, 1916, in Johnson County, the son
of John and Betsy Ramey.
He was a miner and a member of the Church of Christ.
Surviving are his wife, Thelma Goble Ramey; a son, Willis Ramey
of Salyersville; two daughters, Deloris Trimble, Oil Springs,
and Anna Faye Younce, River; a brother, John Henry Ramey of East
Point; two sisters, Addaline Lilly and Florence Webb, both of
East Point; and a halfsister, Pearl George of Wilmington, OH.
Funeral services were held August 25 in Jones-Preston Funeral
Home Chapel with Frank Osborne and Dave Flanery officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
