FREDDIE RATLIFF
1908-1986

Freddie Ratliff, 77, died Wednesday, January 15, 1986, in his
Staffordsville home.

He was born Monday, June 28, 1908, in Johnson County, the son of
Johnny and Dollie Trimble Ratliff.

He was a resident of Staffordsville, a retired employee of Sandy
Valley grocery, and a member of the Freewill Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Pina McKenzie Ratliff, who he married
September 26, 1927, in Paintsville; three sons, John Frank,
Ernie and Paul Ratliff, all of Staffordsville; five daughters,
Mary Ratliff, Betty Frisby, Shirley Blanton and Doris Haney, all
of Staffordsville, and Juanita Faye Williams of Lowmansville; a
brother and sister, Gordon Ratliff of Jackson, MI and Glady
Fraley of Paintsville; 22 grandchildren and 23 great-
grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday, January 18, 1986, in
Staffordsville Freewill Baptist Church, with Bob Collins, James
Crider and Toby Wheeler officiating.

Burial was in Highland Memorial Park with Preston Funeral Home
in charge of arrangements.
