John David Ratliff, 34, of Weaverville, Calif., formerly of Oil
Springs, died Thursday, Aug. 10 2006.
Born May 20, 1972, in Floyd County, he was a son of Johnny and
Barb Goble Ratliff of Oil Springs. He was an X-ray tech.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Henry and
Gracie Akers Goble, and paternal grandfather, John F. Ratliff.
Additional survivors include two sons, John Tyler Ratliff of
Bledsoe, and Cameron Brice Ratliff of Staffordsville; a sister,
Nicki Ratliff of Oil Springs; and paternal grandmother, Ethel
Smith Ratliff of Staffordsville.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 17, at Phelps and
Son Funeral Home, Paintsville, with Kenny Pelphrey officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under
direction of Phelps and Son Funeral Home.
Visitation will be today, Wednesday, Aug. 16, at the funeral home.
