LEVI RATLIFF
1921-1988
Funeral services were held Wednesday, October 19, for Levi “Peacheye”
Ratliff, 67.
Mr. Ratliff was born February 2, 1921 in Johnson County, the son of Sandy
and Lula Trusty Ratliff.
He was a retired distributor from Flowers Bakery and a member of the First
Church of God and Paintsville Masonic Lodge #381 F & AM.
Surviving are his wife, Verna Mae Shepherd Ratliff; one daughter, Deborah
Elaine Ratliff, of Paintsville; one brothers, Carl Ratliff, of Spartonburg,
SC; one sister, Lucille Ratliff of Catlettsburg; and two grandsons.
Officiating at services were Revs. Matthew Boyles and Tommy Reynolds.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville with Paintsville
Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Serving as pallbearers were Paul
Blevins, Richard Thompson, Bill Johnson, Earl Smith, Steve Shelton and Jim
Kestner,
Honorary pallbearers were Roy VanHoose and Bud Shepherd.
