Illness Fatal Feb. 24 To Ollie Ratliff Services Tuesday For
Well- Known Woman.

Mrs. Ollie Ratliff, 54, well-known resident of this city, died
Sunday morning, February 24, in a local hospital after a three-
year illness.

A native of Johnson County, she was born December 11, 1897, the
daughter of the late Leander and Addie Selvage Ratliff.

A member of the Freewill Baptist Church, she was a lifelong
resident of this county.

She is survived by her husband, Press Ratliff, and five
children; three daughters, Mrs. E. W. Hall and Mrs. James
Fairchild, Detroit, Michigan, and Mrs. Woodrow Fisher, city; two
sons, James Ratliff, Detroit, Michigan, and Reece Ratliff,
Danville, Kentucky. Also surviving are three brothers, Topsy and
Clark Ratliff of this city, Leander Ratliff, Richland, W.
Virginia, one half-brother, Mason Ward, Denver, Kentucky, and
two half-sisters, Mrs. Malta Ratliff, city, and Mrs. Minnie
Fairchilds, Staffordsville.

Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February
26, at the Freewill Baptist Church in this city by Reverends
Claude Preston and F. S. VanHoose.

Burial was in the family cemetery at Denver under the direction
of the Jones Funeral Home.
