Peggy Sue Daniels Bennett Ratliff, 72, of Nippa, died Friday, Dec. 17, at
Highlands Regional Medical Center, Prestonsburg.
Born April 15, 1938, in Johnson County, she was the daughter of the late
William Daniels and Mae Fraley Daniels Witham. She was a retired retail
sales clerk.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Billy Daniels; and three
sisters, Deloris Bellamy, Carolyn Cunningham and Brenda Marcum.
Survivors include a son, Michael Ratliff of Nippa; four daughters, Risa
Teers of Nippa, Denise Hewing of Monticello, Melody Perry of Louisa and
Celinda Simmons of Decatur, Ill.; two brothers, John Daniels and Gary
Daniels, both of Nippa; two sisters, Judy Stokes of Dayton, Ohio, and Naomi
Blair of Louisville; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and four
step-great grandchildren.
Funeral services were Tuesday, Dec. 21, at Jones-Preston Funeral Home
Chapel, with Denvil Mollette officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under direction of
Jones-Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville.
