ARNOLD REED
1930-1975
Elder Arnold Reed, 45, died Sunday, November 16, in his home at Flat Gap
after an extended illness.
He was born September 13, 1930, in Johnson County. He was self- employed and
was a member of the United Baptist Church.
Surviving are his parents, Lonza and Beulah Lemaster Reed, his wife, Betty
Rose Trimble Reed; a son, Jeffery Arnold of Flat Gap; five brothers, Hershel
of London, KY, James Lloyd of Paintsville, Edward of Flat Gap, Danny of
Salisburg, MD, and Sammy of Murfreesboro, NC, and four sisters, Mrs. Gerald
Fannin of Jackson, OH, Mrs. F. S. Stapleton of Cardington, OH, Mrs. Jack J.
Kelley of Winter park, FL and Mrs. Woodford Bowen of Flat Gap.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 19, in the Fish Trap United
Baptist church with Reverends Timmie Bailey, Everett Slone, James Harrison
Blair, and Haskel Back officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville with Jones- Preston
Funeral Home handling arrangements.
