EDWIN REED
1945-1978
Edwin Reed, 33, died Sunday, March 12, in Highlands Regional Medical Center
after an extended illness.
Mr. Reed was born in Johnson County, Jan 31, 1945, the son of John and Hazel
VanHoose Reed.
He was a resident of Red Bush and a member of the Enterprise Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to his parents are four brothers, Charles Reed and
William Reed, Paintsville, James D. Reed, Red Bush, and Robert Reed, Van
Lear; and three sisters, Mrs. Lillian Gambill, Flat Gap, Mrs. Wanda
McKenzie, Sitka and Mrs. Wilma Collins, East Point.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Mar 15, in Pigeon Freewill Baptist
church at Oil Springs with Revs. Charles Stapleton, Bill Runyon and John
Frank Ratliff officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park in Staffordsville with Jones-
Preston Funeral Home handling arrangements.
