DON RICE
1906-1978
Don Rice, 72, died Sunday, December 31, at his Wittensville residence.
Born April 2, 1908, in Johnson County, he was the son of George and
Margarett Osborne Rice. His wife, Mabel Lemaster Rice preceded him in
death.
Surviving are a son, Gary Rice of Wittensville; a brother, McKinley Rice of
Russell; a sister, Mrs. Ida VanHoose of Nippa; 3 grandchildren; 3 great
grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, January 3, at 1:30 p.m. in
Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel with M.T. Womack, Jr. officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park with Jones- Preston Funeral Home
handling arrangements.
