ELSINE RICE
1919-1981
Elsine Rice, 62, died Wednesday, May 20, at her home in
Wittensville.
Born in Martin County in May 1919, she was the daughter of John and Rosie Delong
Setser. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Her husband, Alton Rice, survives as do 3
sons, Morris Rice of Wittensville, Alfred Rice of Sitka and John Roy Rice of West Van Lear; 7
grandchildren.
Rev. J. H. Short officiated at services Saturday, May 23, in the chapel of the
Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville with Jones-
