MARQUIS L. RICE
1894-1972
Marquis L. Rice, 77, of Paintsville died Sunday, June 25 following an
extended illness. He was a retired engineer for the C & O Railroad.
He was the son of the late John and Anna Elizabeth Humphrey Rice.
Immediate survivors include his wife, Grace Slone Rice.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. J. W. Burton of Wednesday, June 28
in the chapel of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
Burial followed in the Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville under
direction of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
