RUSSELL RICE
1913-1986
Retired merchant Russell Rice, 72, died Wednesday, January 15,
1986, at his Collista home.
He was born Sunday, May 25, 1913, In Johnson County, the son of
William E. and Allie Nancy Fair Rice, and was a member of the
Freewill Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Marie Stapleton Rice; a brother, Walter
Rice of Mt. Sterling, Ohio; and two sisters, Mildred Blair of
Oil Springs and Daisy Johnson of Hager Hill.
Funeral services were held Sunday, January 19, 1986 at Jones-
Preston Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Lowell Webb and Harold
Conley officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville with
Jones-Preston Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
