Jeffers Dale Richardson, 80, of Salyersville, died Tuesday, April 2,
at Salyersville Nursing and Rehab.
Born May 19, 1932, at Cincinnati, Ohio, he was the son of the late
Lewis and Ethel Twyford Richardson. He was a carpenter and member of
the Salyersville First Baptist Church.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Jessie Montgomery
Richardson; a son, Gary Coffey; five brothers, Osbort Richardson, Earl
Richardson, Charles Richardson, Arvil Richardson and an infant; and
two sisters, Alvie Richardson and Agnes Richardson.
Survivors include two sons, Randall Dale Richardson of Lexington and
David Coffey of Salyersville; three daughters, Daletta Campbell of
Salyersville, Patricia McKee of Lexington and Pamela Smith of Nappa,
Calif.; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-
grandchild.
Funeral services were Thursday, April 4, at Magoffin County Funeral
Home Chapel, with Michael Hornback officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under direction
of Magoffin County Funeral Home, Salyersville.
