EUGENE ROBINSON
1930-1994
Funeral services were held Thursday, December 8 for Eugene Robinson, 64, who
died Monday, December 5 at U. K. Medical Center.
Mr. Robinson was born September 28, 1930, in Johnson County, the son of the
late W. L. and Mayme Lewis Robinson. He was a counter man at Paintsville
Automotive Supply, veteran of the U. S. Air Force and member of Friendship
United Baptist Church where he was a deacon and clerk.
Surviving are his wife, Eula Penix Robinson; one son, John W. Robinson of
Paintsville; one daughter, Sheryl I. Robinson of Lexington; one brother,
Billie Robinson of Paintsville; two sisters, Betty Marie Bayes of Dayton, OH
and Kathleen Trimble of Oil Springs; and two grandchildren.
Officiating at services at Friendship United Baptist Church were Flem
Arrowood, Ted Asberry and Glen Penix.
Burial was in the family cemetery at Williamsport with Jones-Preston Funeral
Home in charge of arrangements.
