Rowland 1928-2014 Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug. 30,
12 p.m. at the Toms Creek Free Will Baptist Church for Helen Marie
Good Rowland, 86, of Hager Hill, who passed away Wednesday, Aug.
27.
  
Mrs. Rowland was born Feb. 5, 1928 in Dearborn, Mich., daughter of
the late Isabelle Hebert and James Lucien Good.
   
She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Lee Rowland.
  
She was a retired banker.
  
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Bob and James
Lucien Good; and three sisters, Betty Vargo, Margie Danzik, and
Martha Meeks. Surviving are one son, James L. (Pam) Rowland; one
brother, Tom Good of Cody, Wyo.; three sisters, Carol Crosser of
Oregon, Ohio, Leona Ludwig of Toledo, Ohio, and Joyce Justice of
Phyllis; four grandchildren, one great-grandchild; and sister-in-
law, Betty Good.
   
Visitation will be Friday, Aug. 29, 5-9 p.m. and Sat., Aug. 30,
9-11 a.m. at the Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
  
The service will be officiated by James Kelly Caudill and Hobert
Meek, with burial to follow in the Highland Memorial Park Cemetery
at Staffordsville.
  
Arrangements under the direction of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home
of Paintsville.
