ROY CHARLES RUNYON
1899-1974
Roy Charles Runyon died in his Paintsville home last Monday, April 22, at
the age of 74. The son of the late Tom and Geneva Charles Runyon.
Mr. Runyon was born in Pike County on December 27, 1899 and was a member of
the Enterprise Baptist Church.
His wife, Audry Madge Francis Runyon preceded him in death. He is survived
by two sons, William H. of Paintsville; Roy C. Jr., of Hager Hill; a
daughter, Katherine Victoria Rowe of Dayton, OH; 12 grandchildren and 12
great grandchildren.
Graveside services for Mr. Runyon were conducted at the Highland Memorial
Park by Reverend Claude Preston last Saturday, April 27.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
