Reverend Cline Salyer, 68, of Paintsville, died in a local hospital, last
Wednesday, March 27, after an illness of several months.
 
Born April 6, 1905, Reverend Salyer was the son of the late Manford and Mary
Ann Bunyard Salyer and was a retired engineer with the Kentucky West
Virginia Gas Company.
 
He is survived by his wife, Essie Terry Salyer, two sons, Robert Lee of
Louisville and Ronald Dean of Paintsville; five grandchildren and two
brothers, Hasten Salyer of Louisville and Homer Salyer of Sarasota, FL.
 
Funeral services were held, Friday, March 29, in the Chapel of the
Paintsville Funeral Home with Reverends Melvin Blanton, Tommy Reynolds, and
Tobe wheeler officiating.
 
Burial was in the Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville with arrangements
under the direction of the Paintsville Funeral Home.
