JAY SALYER
1908-1976
Jay Salyer, 67, died Saturday, June 5, in the Paintsville Hospital.
He was the son of J. D. and Louise Skaggs Salyer and was a resident of
Fuget.
He was born December 22, 1908, in Johnson County.
Mr. Salyer was preceded in death by his wife, Manerva Salyer on November 29,
1974.
He is survived by a brother, Powell Salyer, of South Charleston, OH.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 7, in the Paintsville Funeral Home
Chapel with Rev. Bruce Daniel officiating.
Burial was in the Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville with Paintsville
Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
