LOGAN SALYER
1899-1988
Sitka resident, Logan Salyer, 88, died Sunday, November 6, in Pikeville
Methodist Hospital.
Mr. Salyer was born December 12, 1899 in Johnson County, the son of James
Marion and Sena Salyer. He was a retired miner.
Surviving are his wife, Donnie McKenzie Salyer; four sons, Jessie, of
Columbus, OH, and James, Corvin, and Bobby, all of Sitka; seven daughters,
Irene Crabtree and Minnie Katherine Dingledine, both of Milford Center, OH,
Hester Faye Music of Mt. Victory, OH, Bonnie Sue Estep and Martha Virginia
Estepp, both of Marysville, OH, Lavonjalene Wilcox of Sitka, and Betty June
Caudill of Flat Gap, and 39 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, November 9, at 1 p.m. in
Jones-Preston Funeral Home chapel with Lindsey Meade officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
