 WALLACE SALYER
1886-1968

Wallace Salyer, 81, died Tuesday, February 20 1968, at his home
in Flat Gap after an illness of two months.

A retired farmer, he was born in Johnson County on September 25
1886 the son of Mr. and Mrs. Beecher Salyer.

He was married to the former Teresa Estep, who survives.

Additional survivors include two sons, Trimble Salyer, of Flat
Gap; and Lunda Salyer, of Amlin, Ohio; two daughters, Mrs. Ethel
Rose, of Flat Gap; and Mrs. Irene Beaver of Hillard, Ohio;
eleven grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren. Two
brothers, Franklin Salyer of Cannonsburg, and Bert Salyer of
Columbus, Ohio; and two sisters, Maude Smith, and Hattie Blythe
of Hebern, Ohio also survive.

Funeral services were held Friday, February 23 in the chapel of
the Paintsville Funeral Home, with the Reverends Bruce Daniel
and Ellis Hamilton officiating.

Burial followed in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville
under the direction of the Paintsville Funeral Home.
