Georgan Salyers, 84, of Paintsville, died Sunday, Sept. 4, at Highlands
Regional Medical Center.
Born Nov. 16, 1926, in Wheelersburg, she was the daughter of the late Dewey
Slone and Nettie Raider.
Survivors include two daughters, Wanda Sue Wright and Vicky Skaggs; three
sisters, Louise Castle, Arlene Patrick, and Justine Salyers; several
grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services were Thursday, Sept. 8, at Phelps and Son Funeral Home
Chapel, with Terry Lykins officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Cemetery, Staffordsville, under direction of
Phelps and Son Funeral Home, Paintsville.
