OBA SANDERS
1922-1988
Toledo, Oh resident, Oba Sanders, 66, died Saturday, July 23 in Riverside
Hospital.
Mr. Sanders was born January 8, 1922 in Lawrence County the son of Alex
Sanders and Mable Huff Sanders. He was a conductor with the C&O Railroad and
a veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Ethel Bowling Sanders; his stepmother, Myrtle
Sanders; and one niece.
Funeral services held Tuesday, July 26 in Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel
with Dick VanHoose officiating.
Graveside services were conducted by the Auxier D.A.V. Chapter 18 at
Highland Memorial Park.
