Ruby Jewell Castle Scarberry, 76, of Nippa, died Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2007
at her residence.

Born Oct. 9, 1930, in Johnson County, she was a daughter of the late
Cleveland and Virgie Belle Saddler Castle. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Ellis Scarberry of Nippa; three sons,
James Kenneth Scarberry of Loveland, Ohio, Larry Keith Scarberry of
East Point, and Jerry Michael Scarberry of Prestonsburg; six
daughters, Linda Jewell Bentley, Deborah Lynn Heuser, and Teresa Rose
Burgess, all of Nippa, Brenda Sue Lemaster of Lowmansville, Karen Faye
Salyer of Staffordsville, and Marsheila Gay Baldwin of Leander; 19
grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. today, Friday, Aug. 10, at Jones-
Preston Funeral Home Chapel, Paintsville, with Todd Scarberry and
Buddy McKenzie officiating.

Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under
direction of Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
