LEDGIE SEGRAVES
1924–2002
Funeral services were held Friday, July 26, 11 a.m. at Bethel
United Baptist Church for Ledgie Segraves, 78, who passed away
Tuesday, July 23 at his residence.
Mr. Segraves was born April 12, 1924 in Johnson County, son of
the late Iva and Mary McKenzie Segraves.
Surviving are his wife, Josetta Rigsby Segraves; one son, Tim
Segraves of Flat Gap; one daughter, Melinda Lyons of
Paintsville; four sisters, Eva Lee Salyer of Delaware, Ohio,
Betty Blanton of Volga, Lissie Jean Volkmore of Columbus, and
Doris Gay Franklin of Sunbury, Ohio; four grandchildren.
The service was officiated by David Young and Rick Curtis, with
burial following in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville.
