FLOSSIE SELVAGE
1895-1968

 
Selvage Mrs. Flossie Selvage, 72, died Friday, August 16, at the home of her
daughter, Mrs. Ilene pack in Denver, after an illness of several months.
 
Funeral services were held Sunday, August 17 in the Barnetts Creek United
Baptist Church, of which she was a member, with Prater Blair, Lonza Reed and
James H. Blair officiating.
   
Pallbearers were Ray T. Preston, Raymond McCarty, J. C. Selvage, Marcus
O’Bryan, Ova Reed and Clinton Selvage.
 
Burial followed in the Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville under the
direction of the Preston Funeral Home.
 
Born at Barnetts Creek on December 16, 1895, she was the daughter of the
late Eli and Sis Ward Ratliff.
 
Survivors include the daughter, Mrs. Pack, two sons, Ivan Selvage of
Columbus, OH and Ray Selvage of Wabash, IN.
 
Additional survivors are six brothers and sisters, Dennie Ratliff and Mrs.
Flora Blair of Barnetts Creek, Ellis Ratliff of Collista, Verlon Ratliff of
Mansfield, OH, Mrs. Callie Setser of Paintsville and Mrs. Emma Selvage of
Columbus, OH; 8 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
