Oddie Selvage Sr., 72, of Paintsville, died Sunday, Aug. 11, at
Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center, Paintsville.

Born March 14, 1930, in Johnson County, a son of the late George
and Elizabeth Spencer Selvage, he was a retired railroad worker
with Conrail.

He was preceded in death by three sons, Randy Selvage, Robbie
Selvage and Otis Selvage; three brothers, Orie Selvage, Ottis
Selvage, and Ollie Selvage; and a sister, Delphine Selvage.

Survivors include his wife, Martha Branham Selvage of
Paintsville; four sons, Gary Baldridge, Jerry T. Selvage, and
Oddie Selvage Jr., all of Paintsville, and Rodney Selvage of
Martin County; a daughter, Janet Pennington of Flat Gap; two
sisters, Clotene Selvage Cantrell and Lorraine Selvage Doderer
of Tutor Key; 17 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Larry Blair Wednesday,
Aug. 14, at Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel, Paintsville.

Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffords-ville.

Jones- Preston Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
