Marcella Combs Shepherd, 66, of Garrett, died Thursday, Jan. 6, at Mayo
Clinic, Jacksonville, Fla.
Born June 20, 1944 at Lackey, she was the daughter of the late Enoch and
Dorothy Conley Combs. She was employed with Commonwealth/Monumental Life
Insurance Company.
Survivors include a son, Abe Enoch Shepherd of Richmond; a daughter, Karen
Machille Shepherd of Jacksonville, Fla.; two sisters, Betty Karen Conley of
Garrett and Cora Ann Whitaker of Pontiac, Mich.; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were Monday, Jan. 10 at Hall Funeral Home Chapel, with
burial in Highland Memorial Gardens, Staffordsville, under direction of Hall
Funeral Home, Martin.
