EDITH SHERMAN
1913-2003
Funeral services were held Sunday, March 30, 2:00 p.m. at Jones-
Preston Funeral Home for Edith Payne Sherman, 89, who passed
away Thursday, March 27 at Senior Care Lake Points, Rowlett, TX.
Mrs. Sherman was born June 28, 1913 in Lawrence County, KY,
daughter of the late Charles and Martha Payne Fraley.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Sherman.
Surviving are one son, Stanley Sherman of Seminole, FL; three
daughters, Sharon Sherman of Denver, CO, Elaine Hissam of
Parkersburg, WV, Donna Phelps of Rowlett, TX; one sister, Molly
Hunter of Paintsville, KY and one brother-in-law, Charles
Sherman of Crab Orchard, KY, 4 grandchildren and 2 great
grandchildren.
The service was officiated by Styllard Lynch, with burial
following in Highland Memorial Park in Staffordsville.
Arrangements under the direction of Jones-Preston Funeral Home
of Paintsville.
