FRANCIS SIMPSON
1917-2005
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 2, 1 p.m. at the Jones-
Preston Funeral Home Chapel for Francis Dawson Simpson, 87, of
Springfield, Ohio, who passed away Thursday, June 30 2005 at the
Masonic Home.
Mrs. Simpson was born July 1, 1917 in Johnson County, Ky., daughter
of the late Albert and Hattie Price Dawson.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Roy Simpson; one son,
Roy Roger Simpson; and three brothers and three sisters.
She was a homemaker.
Surviving are two daughters, Mary (Harold) Fitch and Ernestine (Paul)
Jerrell, both of Springfield, Ohio; and six grandchildren and 10
great- grandchildren.
The service was officiated by Larry Blair and Richard Williams, with
burial in the Highland Memorial Park Cemetery at Staffordsville, Ky.
Arrangements under the direction of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home of
Paintsville, Ky.
