Doris E. Skaggs, 67, of Lowmansville, died Sunday, Oct. 2, at Ashland
Community Hospice Center.
She was born June 13, 1944.
Survivors include her husband, David Skaggs; a son, Phillip R. Skaggs of
Florida; a daughter, Paula Sinatra of Sharon Springs, N.Y.; four brothers,
Kenneth Spradlin of Cincinnati, Ohio, Charles Spradlin, Larry Spradlin and
Ricky Spradlin, all of Johnson County; and three sisters, Ruth Huff, and
Brenda Maynard of Georgia and Nancy Keeton of W.Va.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. today, Wednesday, Oct. 5, at Jones-Preston
Funeral Chapel, with Darren Rice officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville. Visitation will be
at Jones-Preston Funeral Home on Wednesday after 9 a.m. to time of service,
under direction of Jones-Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville.
