REGNOLD SLONE
1919-1987
Funeral services were held Thursday, December 17 for Regnold Slone, 68. Mr.
Slone was born April 11, 1919 in Johnson County, the son of James and Jane
McKenzie Slone. He was a retired truck driver from Texaco Oil.
Surviving are his wife, Ruby Fairchild Slone; one son, Roger Slone of
Staffordsville; six daughters, Barbara Sue Daniel, Dorothy Slone, and Mary
Lynn Hicks, all of Paintsville, Pat Himes of Ohio, Deloris Witten and
Marilyn Brown, both of Van Lear; one brother, James Slone of West Van Lear;
three sisters, Lola McKenzie of Volga, Amanda Castle and Clarice Pelphrey,
both of Paintsville, and nine grandchildren.
Services were held in Preston Funeral Home Chapel with Chuck Slone, Mark
Castle and Orville Short officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
