Flora Smith, 82, Dies December 16 In Hospital Here

Mrs. Flora Smith, 82, died Saturday, December 16, 1967, 8:30 p.m.
in a local hospital, after a brief illness.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 19, 10:30 a.m. in the
Third Street Baptist Church, with the Rev. Scott Castle and Rev.
Adam Marshall officiating.

Burial was held in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville, under
the direction of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home.

Born in Johnson County on June 6 1885, she was the daughter of the
late John A. and Lou Adams Caudill.

A lifelong resident of Swamp Branch, she was a member of the United
Baptist Church.

Her first husband, Beverly Williams, preceded her in death in
December of 1936.

Her second husband Edward Smith, also preceded her in death, in
December of 1963.

Survivors include four sons, Glen and Fred Williams, of Riceville;
Bert Williams, of Hillsboro, Ohio; one daughter, Mrs. Fannie Huff
Lacey, of Ashland, also survives.

Additionals survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Dewey Helton and
Mrs. Pierce Trimble, both of Oil Springs; and one brother, Gilbert
Caudill, of Delaware, Ohio.
